Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of the maintenance and upkeep of our drone fleet. Your responsibilities will include managing the components and system assemblies of drones, such as motors, structures, and sensors. You will also be responsible for building jigs to test aircraft components and ensure the smooth operation of the fleet.

Responsibilities

• Build vehicle components and test jigs using provided instructions.
• Replace vehicle parts and update documentation as necessary.
• Verify and execute test specifications with available resources.
• Create test setups that match specifications, including interpreting test procedures, diagrams, and data acquisition.
• Write detailed reports to identify and analyze issues during tests.

Essential Skills

• Assembly experience with hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, and drills.
• Basic soldering skills are required.
• Ability to read and follow basic SOPs and non-technical instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MacOS or Microsoft.
• Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and proactivity.
• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience preferred, but open to graduates with experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical drawings and electrical specifications.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Experience in a machine shop and with mechanical equipment is a plus.
• Basic electrical wiring knowledge required.
• Active drivers license needed.

Work in a large facility located in a remote area, with tasks that can be both indoors and outdoors. The environment requires adaptability to various elements and conditions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Esparto, CA.

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $76960.00/yr.
